Travelator Refurbishment Upgrades
Our travelators located in the South Mall that service Woolworths/Aldi and Big W/Target will undergo life cycle refurbishment upgrades, which will see these moving walks closed for a period from 2 April 2024, with a scheduled completion date of mid-2024.
The refurbishment upgrades are part of Macarthur Square's ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience as we improve the travelator functionality as they reach the end of their lifecycle.
Plan Your Visit
All stores will remain open during this time and we encourage customers to plan ahead when navigating between Levels 2, 2A and 3 within the South Mall.
All Centre carparks, entries (excluding Blue 2A South) and other vertical transport options will remain open.
Temporary Centre Entry Closure - Blue 2A South
The Centre entry at Blue Carpark 2A South will be closed for the duration of the works.
Level 2 and Level 3 entries will remain open for the duration of works and all other entries located on 2A will remain open.
Visiting with Prams/Trolleys and Mobility Aids
We encourage all customers using prams/trolleys and mobility aids within the South Mall to become familiar with the closest available lifts to access between levels.
For Lift Access:
Level 2: Use the lift Opposite Woolworths next to Dusk or the Blue Lifts near Centre Court.
Level 2A: Use the Blue lifts near Centre Court
Level 3: Use the lift next to Travelex or the Blue Lifts near Centre Court.
Parking Options
Visiting Level 3 - Target, Big W and neighbouring tenants, customers have the option to park on Blue Level 3 or Purple carparks.
Visiting Level 2 - Woolworths, Aldi and neighbouring tenants, customers have the option to park in Blue Level 2 carpark.
Blue Carpark Level 2, 2A and 3 will remain open, noting Blue 2A South entry will be closed.
Centre Operation
During this period, all stores within Macarthur Square will remain open for business, and will continue to operate as usual.
Works will commence 2 April and are expected to be completed in mid-2024.
